Together, we can make Thrivania the best place for professionals to connect, grow, and find opportunity.
Thrivania is a community where candidates, employers, and co-founders come together to find meaningful opportunities, build productive relationships, and grow their careers and businesses. The content you contribute should add to this community in a constructive manner.
These Professional Community Policies outline what is and isn't allowed on Thrivania. By using our platform, you agree to follow these policies. Together, we can make our community a place where everyone is able to learn, grow, and communicate — which in turn helps create economic opportunity for everyone.
Only bring safe conversations to Thrivania. Protect yourself and others.
Use your true identity and share information that is real and authentic.
Keep interactions constructive and professional. Respect others' time and boundaries.
If you see something that may violate our policies — whether in profiles, posts, messages, comments, job listings, or anywhere else — please report it to us. Combined with our automated defenses, these reports help us identify and prevent abuse.
In addition to our trained content reviewers, we use AI-powered systems to identify potentially violating content. Violating content may be removed from Thrivania, and the responsible account may face restrictions.
These policies apply to all members — candidates, employers, and co-founders alike. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may:
Repeated or egregious offenses will result in account termination. If you believe action taken on your content or account was in error, you can submit an appeal by contacting our support team.
Only bring safe conversations to Thrivania. Our platform exists to help people find opportunity — not to harm, threaten, or endanger others.
We don't allow bullying or harassment. This includes targeted personal attacks, intimidation, shaming, disparagement, and abusive language directed at other members. Do not reveal others' personal or sensitive information (doxing), or incite others to do the same. You may not engage in trolling or other repetitive negative content that disrupts other members or conversations on the platform. This applies to all interactions — posts, comments, messages, job application feedback, and co-founder matching conversations.
We don't allow threatening or inciting violence of any kind. We don't allow individuals or groups that engage in or promote violence, property damage, or organized criminal activity. You may not use Thrivania to express support for such individuals or groups or to otherwise glorify violence.
We have zero tolerance for content that depicts the sexual exploitation of children. Do not share, post, transmit, or solicit child exploitation material through or using our platform. Do not use Thrivania in any way to facilitate, encourage, or engage in the abuse or exploitation of children. When we become aware of apparent child exploitation, we report it to the appropriate authorities.
We don't allow content that facilitates the purchase of illegal or restricted goods and services. Do not post job listings for illegal activities. Do not use Thrivania to promote fake educational or professional certifications, proxy test-taking, or the creation of forged documents. The Challenges and assessment features must not be used to solicit or distribute answers to proprietary evaluations used by employers.
We don't allow terrorist organizations or violent extremist groups on our platform. We don't allow individuals who affiliate with such organizations to have a Thrivania account. Content that depicts, recruits for, or supports terrorism in any manner is not tolerated.
We require you to use your true identity on Thrivania, provide accurate information about yourself or your organization, and only share information that is real and authentic. Trust is the foundation of meaningful professional connections.
Do not share content that is false, misleading, or intended to deceive. Do not share synthetic or manipulated media (deepfakes) that depicts a person saying or doing something they did not, without clearly disclosing its artificial nature. Do not share content that directly contradicts guidance from leading global health organizations and public health authorities.
We don't allow fake profiles or entities. Do not post misleading or deceptive information about yourself, your qualifications, work experience, affiliations, or achievements. Do not use an image of someone else or any AI-generated likeness that is not you for your profile photo. Do not associate yourself with a business or organization that you are not actually professionally associated with.
Do not use or attempt to use another person's Thrivania account or create a member profile for anyone other than yourself. Do not share your account credentials with anyone else.
Employers must post legitimate job opportunities with accurate descriptions of the role, compensation, and requirements. Do not use job listings to collect personal information for purposes other than recruitment. Do not create fake company profiles or misrepresent your authority to recruit on behalf of an organization. Co-founder listings must accurately represent the venture and what is being offered.
Do not use Thrivania to facilitate scams, promote pyramid schemes, or otherwise defraud members. Do not share malicious software or phishing links. Do not impersonate Thrivania staff or representatives. Advance-fee scams, fake investment opportunities, and employment scams that require upfront payments from candidates are strictly prohibited.
Do not attempt to manipulate or exploit Thrivania's AI-powered matching algorithms, profile generation tools, or assessment systems. Do not feed intentionally misleading information to AI features to gain unfair advantages in job matching or co-founder compatibility scores. Do not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the platform or to mass-interact with other users.
Thrivania's mission is to connect talent with opportunity using AI-powered matching. We allow broad conversations about the world of work, careers, and entrepreneurship, but require professional expression. Members should treat each other with respect and civility. Do not interact with others or share content in a way that's uncivil, inappropriate, or disrespectful.
We don't allow content that attacks, denigrates, intimidates, dehumanizes, incites or threatens hatred, violence, or discriminatory action against individuals or groups because of their actual or perceived race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, age, or disability status. Hate groups are not permitted on Thrivania. Do not use slurs that incite or promote hatred, or any other content intended to create division. Do not post or share content that denies well-documented historical events.
We don't allow unwanted expressions of attraction, requests for romantic relationships, sexual advances, or lewd remarks. Thrivania is a professional platform, not a dating site. Do not use Thrivania to pursue romantic connections, provide sexual commentary on someone's appearance, or send sexually explicit images. This applies to all interactions including messages, co-founder matching conversations, and post comments.
We don't allow content that is excessively gruesome or shocking, including graphic depictions of violence, self-harm, or drug abuse. We don't allow content depicting nudity or sexual activity. Do not share content that promotes or encourages suicide or self-injury. If you see signs that someone may be considering self-harm, please report it to us and consider contacting local emergency services.
We don't allow untargeted, irrelevant, obviously unwanted, unauthorized, or gratuitously repetitive messages or content. Do not use messaging features to send promotional messages to people you don't know. Do not mass-apply to jobs with generic applications. Do not use the Co-Founder Hub to promote products or services unrelated to genuine co-founder seeking.
Make the effort to create original, professional, and relevant content. Don't do things to artificially inflate engagement with your content, such as coordinated liking or sharing schemes. Do not use our platform to drive traffic to external sites in a deceptive manner.
Employers must comply with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws. Job listings may not include discriminatory requirements based on protected characteristics (race, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, etc.) unless a bona fide occupational qualification applies. Do not use Thrivania's matching features or filters to discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics.
Thrivania uses AI to power features like profile generation, job matching, co-founder compatibility, and content recommendations. We expect all members to interact with these features responsibly.
If you use AI tools (including Thrivania's built-in AI assistant or external tools) to generate substantial portions of content you share on Thrivania — such as articles, posts, or challenge submissions — you should disclose this when it is not obvious from context. AI-generated profile summaries created through our onboarding process are clearly marked and do not require additional disclosure.
Challenges and skills assessments are designed to evaluate your genuine abilities. Do not use AI tools, other people, or unauthorized resources to complete challenges or assessments that are meant to measure your individual skills, unless the challenge specifically permits it. Submissions found to be fraudulently completed may be removed and your account may be restricted.
Our AI matching system is designed to be fair and merit-based. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer matching algorithms or exploit them for unfair advantage. If you believe our AI systems are producing biased or unfair results, please report it to us — we take algorithmic fairness seriously.
The Co-Founder Hub connects people seeking to build ventures together. These additional guidelines apply to co-founder interactions.
Provide accurate information about the stage, funding status, and nature of your venture. Do not misrepresent equity splits, time commitments, or what co-founders will receive. Be transparent about whether the venture is pre-idea, pre-revenue, funded, or generating income.
Initial co-founder conversations are exploratory. Do not pressure matches into immediate commitments, demand NDAs before sharing basic venture concepts, or ghost matches without communication. Treat co-founder matching conversations with the same professionalism you'd bring to any business relationship.
The Co-Founder Hub is for finding genuine co-founders — partners with equity stakes and decision-making authority. Do not use it to recruit unpaid labor, interns, or employees under the guise of a “co-founder” arrangement. If you're looking to hire, use the employer features instead.
Respect others' intellectual property rights. Do not share content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights. This includes:
If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed, please see our Copyright Policy for information on how to submit a takedown request.
Our community is strongest when every member contributes to making it better. Thank you for helping create a professional environment where talent meets opportunity, co-founders find each other, and everyone can grow.
