Effective May 24, 2025

Introduction

Thrivania (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is an AI-powered talent ecosystem that connects candidates, employers, and co-founders. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, including our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our Services, whether you are a registered member (“Member”) or a visitor browsing our public pages (“Visitor”). By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through our Services or by other means to give you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. Your continued use of our Services after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide to Us

Registration

To create an account, you provide your name, email address, and password, or sign in through a third-party provider (such as Google, Microsoft, GitHub, or LinkedIn). If you use a third-party sign-in, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider.

Profile Information

You may provide additional information on your profile, such as your work experience, education, skills, career goals, personality assessments, Ikigai results, location, and professional summary. You choose what information to include; however, a more complete profile helps our AI matching algorithms provide better results. Please do not include sensitive personal information you would not want to be shared with potential employers or co-founders.

Content You Post

We collect data when you post content (articles, updates, comments), react to or share others' content, participate in challenges or assessments, upload resumes or documents, send messages, or submit job applications through our Services.

Communications

When you communicate through our Services (sending messages, connection requests, or chat with our AI assistant), we collect the content of those communications. We use automated systems to support features such as AI-powered profile generation, message notifications, and content moderation.

Payment Information

If you purchase premium services, we collect billing and payment information. Payment card details are processed by our payment service provider and are not stored on our servers.

1.2 Data from Others

Other Users

Other users may post content that includes information about you (such as mentioning you in posts or comments). Employers may provide feedback or application status updates that reference you.

Partners and Employers

We may receive information from employers or recruitment partners who use our Services, such as job application data or information about positions you may be eligible for.

Third-Party Sign-In Providers

When you sign in using Google, Microsoft, GitHub, or LinkedIn, we receive basic profile information (name, email, profile photo) as authorized by you through the provider's consent screen.

1.3 Data We Collect Automatically

Usage Data

We log usage data when you visit or use our Services, including pages viewed, content clicked, searches performed, features used, the date and time of your visit, and referring URLs. We use this data to understand how our Services are used and to improve them.

Device and Connection Information

We collect information about the devices you use to access our Services, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and general location information (city or region level) derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to recognize you, remember your preferences, understand how you use our Services, and improve your experience. See Section 5 for details.

1.4 AI-Generated and Inferred Data

Our AI systems generate inferences and insights about you based on the data you provide and your usage of our Services. This includes AI-generated profile summaries, personality type assessments, Ikigai analysis, skills recommendations, job match scores, and co-founder compatibility assessments. These AI-generated insights are stored as part of your profile and are used to improve matching accuracy. You can review and edit AI-generated content in your profile settings.
