Closing your account
How to deactivate or permanently delete your Thrivania account.
You can close your account at any time. Here's what you need to know.
Before You Close Your Account
Closing your account will:
•Remove your profile from search results
•Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
•Cancel any active subscriptions
•Remove your access to all Services
•Delete your messages and connections
This action cannot be undone. Consider downloading your data first.
How to Close Your Account
1.Go to Settings & Privacy
2.Navigate to Account Management
3.Click Close Account
4.Select your reason for leaving (optional)
5.Enter your password to confirm
6.Click Close Account
We'll send a confirmation email. Your account data will be deleted within 30 days, except for data we're required by law to retain.
Downloading Your Data First
Before closing your account, we recommend downloading a copy of your data:
1.Go to Settings & Privacy → Account Management
2.Click Download My Data
3.Wait for the download to be prepared
4.Download and save your data
5.Then proceed with account closure
After Closing Your Account
Once your account is closed:
•You can create a new account with the same email after 30 days
•Content you shared in messages to others may still be visible to them
•Your challenge submissions will be anonymized
•Any feedback you submitted may be retained in anonymized form
