Configure your preferences to get the best experience on Thrivania.
Your preferences control what you see and how you're matched on Thrivania. Taking a few minutes to set them up properly will significantly improve your experience.
Job Preferences
If you're a candidate, set your job preferences to control what opportunities you see:
•Job titles — Add the roles you're interested in
•Industries — Select industries you'd like to work in
•Location — Set your preferred work location(s) or indicate remote preference
•Salary range — Define your expected compensation range
•Company size — Small startup, mid-size, or enterprise
•Job type — Full-time, part-time, contract, or freelance
Notification Preferences
Control which notifications you receive:
•Email notifications — New matches, messages, job alerts
•In-app notifications — Real-time updates within the platform
•Marketing emails — Product updates, tips, and resources
You can customize each notification type independently in your Settings & Privacy page.
Privacy Preferences
Manage your visibility:
•Profile visibility — Public, connections only, or private
•Email visibility — Who can see your email address
•Active status — Show or hide your online status
•Search visibility — Whether your profile appears in search results
How to Update Preferences
You can update your preferences at any time:
1.Click your profile icon in the top navigation
2.Select Settings & Privacy
3.Navigate to the relevant section
4.Make your changes and save
